Harm reduction is a set of practical strategies and ideas aimed at reducing negative consequences associated with drug use. Harm Reduction is also a movement for social justice built on a belief in, and respect for, the rights of people who use drugs.
We offer supply kits for safer injection, smoking, and snorting, as well as condoms and education about drug use and health via our two weekly drop-ins and text hotline.
The best way to get supplies from us is to visit one of our weekly drop-ins.
Since 2015, we have delivered dozens of trainings to local community organizations, clinics, nonprofits and academic institutions and presented workshops at several national conferences. Our expert harm reduction trainings can accommodate groups of all sizes and backgrounds and be tailored to your needs.
Since harm reduction demands a spectrum of strategies that reflect specific individual and community needs, there is no universal definition of or formula for implementing harm reduction.
