Syringes are needles used to inject medicine and/or substance intravenously, or “within a vein”. Many users prefer using syringes because the affect of the substance is faster and more intense than other methods of consumption. Because of the usual preference of syringes, it is important to Trystereo to promote access to sterile syringes to reduce potential harm in our communities of people who use drugs. 

Our glass selection includes roses, hammers, and bubble pipes! Some users prefer snorting and/or smoking substances as opposed to injecting them, as the resulting sensations’ speed and intensity is different.

Moreover, some harm reductionists argue that the use of glass rather than syringes reduces risk of illnesses and injuries that can result from unsafe injection. Again, this is why safe syringe access programs like Trystereo are so important! 

“Works” describes two types of kits: points works kits (for syringe or IV injection) and smoke works kits (for smoking or snorting with glass). These include the additional supplies that are useful in facilitating safer drug use. 

Points works kits include: alcohol prep pads, tourniquets, cottons, cotton bags, waters, and cookers. 

Smoke works kits include: rubber mouthpieces, alcohol prep pads, wipes, wooden push sticks, and lip balm.
